Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Chiricahua National Monument

National Park Service. 2005. Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Chiricahua National Monument

This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. The Chiricahua National Monument vegetation mapping inventory imagery was captured by DigitalGlobe Inc.'s Quickbird satellite in April 2005 and orthorectified with ERDAS (Leica) OrthoBase software. It was used to create the initial draft polygons used during field data collection as well as to edit and refine polygons during later phases of the mapping process.
