Southeast Alaska Network water quality site visit files for monitoring year 2022 (FQ_C)
Murdoch C and Ziomek T. 2025. Southeast Alaska Network water quality site visit files for monitoring year 2022 (FQ_C). NPS Southeast Alaska I&M Network, Juneau, Alaska.
Designated Park Leads visit water quality sondes at monitoring sites each month of the field season. Each visit is documented on a standard Site Visit Worksheet and entered into an Excel file (XLSX format) after. During site visits, river conditions are noted, then the sonde is pulled and each sensor’s accuracy is evaluated against established criteria. Sensors are cleaned and recalibrated as needed, with all relevant pre-/post-cleaning or calibration readings recorded. Park Leads email the XLSX Site Visit Worksheet to the SEAN Project Leader each month. The files are reviewed for completeness and data quality, then certified Site Visit Worksheets are zipped into a single FQ_C archive covering the full monitoring year at all sites for publication. The details of FQ_C are in SEAN protocol package FQ-2022.1, SOP 3.
