The Puyallup tribe and WA DNR jointly funded, and contracted with NV5 Geospatial Solutions to collect thermal infrared (TIR) and true color airborne imagery data during the summer of 2024 for the Puyallup and Nisqually Rivers in Washington. The survey area encompassed the anadromous salmon reaches of the Puyallup River and tributaries, Carbon and White Rivers and tributaries, the Nisqually River basin, and a portion of the Chambers Creek basin totaling 450 miles.
