In 2022 SHSU set up Blue Vane traps in two units of the Big Thicket National Forest. The Units were the Jack Gore Unit and the Beech Creek Unit. We collected 45 bees representing 11 species in the Jack Gore Unit and 57 bees representing 9 species in the Beech Creek Unit.
