¬NPS North Cascades Summary of Activities. Research Permit and Reporting System
In 2024, we focused our research in the North Cascades on further characterizing bodies of metamorphosed sedimentary rocks (metasedimentary) and metamorphosed plutonic rocks (orthogneiss) throughout the Skagit Gneiss Complex using field mapping and U-Pb age dating. Bob Miller (San Jose State University), Stacia Gordon (University of Nevada-Reno), and Sarnav Bakshi (University of Nevada-Reno) completed two weeks of field work.
