Purpose: The first trip was made to perform a reconnaissance of the effects of flooding immediately after the event, provide advice to park management regarding concerns for safety of park staff and visitors, and determine if further effort on the part of WRD was warranted. The second visit was made as a follow-up to assess the magnitude and frequency of the flood and to develop additional flood hazard information for the Park campground and visitors center.
