UCBN Stream Characteristic and Riparian Condition Database

Lonneker J, Dicus G, Rodhouse T. 2025. UCBN Stream Characteristic and Riparian Condition Database. Upper Columbia Basin Network

The PanFish/InFish Biological Opinion (PIBO) program will conduct the stream channel characteristics data collection, and will enter the data into the PIBO stream database as well as perform PIBO standardized quality assurance and quality control procedures. The PIBO program will provide a certified PIBO stream database to the UCBN as an annual data deliverable. Following review of the stream database submitted by PIBO, the macroinvertebrate and steam channel monitoring site data will be migrated into the UCBN stream database. Migration of PIBO data to the UCBN stream database is performed to facilitate long-term archival of the monitoring data and to support data storage in a format conducive for quality control and reporting processes. The data provided by PIBO are summarized into this database, retaining only the information relevant to UCBN sites.
