Unpublished National Park Service Report, Pacific Island Inventory and Monitoring Network, Hawaii National Park, Hawaii.. National Park Service
This SOP covers post-field work equipment maintenance for water quality instrumentation and field equipment. It also covers post-field work handling of field data. Data that was collected in the field should be processed as soon as possible upon return. This includes proper handling of field datasheets, logbooks, YSI data, field photos, and GPS data. Data files will be stored in the Water Quality Monitoring project workspace in the PACN I&M SharePoint site. Procedures below will walk you through these steps or refer you to the appropriate protocol SOPs for processing these different data files (SOPs #14-25). While processing data, progress should be tracked in the Water Quality Data Log so that other staff members know the progress for each type of data per sampling event. See Appendix SOP 13.a. Water Quality Files Processing Checklist for a checklist to track data processing progress.
