This SOP describes how to select water quality sampling stations. Sample stations will be selected within three different sampling frames: accessible reaches of perennial streams, marine waters with potential park impacts, and brackish water resources (anchialine pools, fishponds, and a saline lake). A master equipment list for the entire Water Quality Vital Signs Monitoring Protocol can be found in Appendix SOP 2.a of SOP #2 General Tasks Prior to Conducting Field Work. The master equipment list should be updated simultaneously if this or any SOP requiring an equipment list is revised. A list of equipment required to complete the tasks specified in this SOP has been provided in Appendix SOP 7.a. in this SOP.
