PACN Inventory Seabirds National Park of American Samoa
Rauzon M. PACN Inventory Seabirds National Park of American Samoa. 2002. Research Center University of Hawaii
Seabird survey during a five-night trip to make audio recordings and listen at night to determine extent of the Tahiti petrel (Pseudobulweria rostrata) population and ascertain if other species of seabirds were present. Additionally, a preliminary boat survey of Tutuila was made to survey seabird populations and sites. Bridled terns (Sterna anaethetus) were found to be present in small numbers and may be a new breeding species for the park.
