This climate change vulnerability assessment evaluates the resilience of the East Creek water supply at Bryce Canyon National Park to projected shifts in climate and hydrology. A scenario-based approach considers individual projections from climate and hydrology models to capture a range of climate futures Bryce Canyon may experience, from “Warm Wet” to “Hot Dry.” Vulnerability was assessed by examining the water supply’s exposure and sensitivity to climate changes, including historical and projected water budgets, water demands, storage capacity, droughts, extreme events, and fire. This assessment aims to inform short- and long-term water resource management decisions at Bryce Canyon National Park, including infrastructure projects such as the ongoing East Creek Water System distribution line upgrades.
