This IRMA project archives digital files collected as supplementary information for the peer-reviewed journal article "Multi-decadal observations of glacier thinning from airborne laser altimetry reveal accelerating mass loss in Alaskan National Parks" published in Journal of Glaciology (https://doi.org/10.1017/jog.2026.10187). Files in this project are organized within subdirectories, each of which is a separate IRMA reference. Below, we list them by reference type and number and briefly describe them. Each IRMA reference contains its own README file that more thoroughly describes the contents. IRMA Geospatial Dataset 2314560, survey geotiffs. 186 files that document glacier surface elevations from lidar surveys spanning the years 1994-2022. Survey data are presented as geotiffs in the local UTM projection for that glacier with 2.5 m pixel resolution. All surveys for a given glacier are bundled in a zip file with naming convention "[glaciername]_2p5m.zip". Within that zip file, each survey is a separate file with naming convention [glaciername].[surveyyear].[survey_dayofyear].2p5m.tif". IRMA Geospatial Dataset 2315229, survey statistics. 205 files that document, for every glacier survey, various glacier characteristics and glacier change over time. Filename convention is "diffstats7_v6_[glaciername]_from_cop30_[startyear]_[endyear].json". IRMA Geospatial Dataset 2315477, ancillary files. 9 files that provide additional data about the project. Four data files necessary to run the python scripts in the script collection of this project, along with five files that comprise a shapefile useful for viewing the annotated RGI7 Region 1 glaciers in geospatial software. IRMA Generic Multimedia 2314563, survey offsets. 305 figures (in png format) that depict offsets of surveyed glacier surface elevations from reference glacier elevations in the cop30 dem. Naming convention is "[glaciername]_[nominalseason]_median_plot.png". IRMA Generic Multimedia 2314918, survey flight maps. 305 figures (in png format) that depict glacier flight lines and survey footprints, color-coded by year over a hillshaded glacier map. Naming convention is "flights_map_[glaciername]_[nominalseason].png". IRMA Script 2314562, scripts. Two python scripts that require other data products in this archive to run. When the scripts and data are copied to a local machine and embedded directory structures are modified as needed, the scripts can derive thinning rates from the survey statistics ('diffstats') files and also produce regionalized volume and mass change rates.
