This report summarizes the results of exotic plant early-detection surveys conducted by the Sonoran Desert Network at Tumacácori National Historical Site, in April 2025. Select target exotic (non-native, invasive) plants were mapped along major vectors of spread, including the Santa Cruz River corridor, trails and roads. Individual plants or small infestations less than 10m in diameter were mapped using points, and larger infestations were mapped by drawing a line around the impacted area to create a polygon. Data were reviewed in the office for spatial accuracy and to ensure all data fields were complete.
