Brief newspaper report of the death of a 200-year-old saguaro in Wickenburg, AZ, believed at the time to be the "world's largest". It was not the tallest or oldest, but the term "largest" given due to combination of height, trunk circumference and crown spread. Death of the saguaro was attributed to lightning or wind damage.
