This is a contractor-produced report describing environmental and ecological monitoring study design, infrastructure establishment and baseline monitoring observations for the Restore Act-funded "Canal Backfilling for Hydrologic Restoration" project at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve's Barataria Preserve. Monitoring infrastructure was established in October and November 2021 and baseline observations were made from October 2021 through February 2022.
