Northeast Region Deer Spotlight Monitoring - ArcGIS Pro Tools
Mitchell B . 2025. Northeast Region Deer Spotlight Monitoring - ArcGIS Pro Tools. National Park Service
Tools for processing deer monitoring data. One tool uses locations, bearings, and distances to deer to calculate their coordinates. The other tool uses location, bearing, and distance to either side of a vehicle to calculate locations of the maximum distance an observer thinks they would be able to see deer. These tools were developed by Roland Duhaime, University of Rhode Island Environmental Data Center, in response to two technical assistance requests.
