Antietam National Battlefield Topographic Wetness Index - Geospatial Data
McGinnity E. 2025. Antietam National Battlefield Topographic Wetness Index - Geospatial Data. National Park Service
Geospatial data for a topographic wetness index (TWI) for Antietam National Battlefield. TWIs are used to estimate areas of the land where water is more and less likely to accumulate. Resolution is at multiple scales: 1 meter (original raster resolution), 2 meter, and 15 meter. The park can use this information to understand where water is likely to collect during rain storms and inform facilities and natural resource projects. See related files for R Script containing all code to reproduce HTLM and HTLM output from script.
