This report describes the work performed by the Invasive Plant Management Team (IPMT) at Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve (GAAR) in July and August of 2024. The IPMT crews involved on these work trips were three NPS crew leads and six Student Conservation Association (SCA) interns. The two objectives for this field season were to collect native plant seeds as part of the Seeds of Success (SOS) protocol and survey for the invasive aquatic plant Elodea. For SOS, only three different plant species were collected in the Walker Lake area due to inclement weather and plants being past maturity. Elodea surveys were conducted at Walker Lake and Lake Selby, and none was found at either lake.
