This investigation sets out to explore how effectively science communication can bridge the gap of understanding between scientists and the greater public, particularly through the medium of short and shareable videos. The purpose of this investigation is to define successfully engaging science videos and to shape a set of guidelines for creating a series of science-focused videos. The central themes of the research cover three areas: (1) storytelling & curiosity; (2) scientific literacy, inquiry & science education; and (3) effective video production techniques. The study’s primary goal is to determine how successfully engaging and educational science videos cohesively present visual and spoken information that is accurate, trusted and inspiring of further inquiry.
