The 2023 Crum Bryological Workshop, the second workshop in Kentucky, took place at Mammoth Cave National Park. This workshop represents the first bryophyte expedition in the park with the intention of developing an inventory for park management. Eight participants collected over 831 bryophyte specimens comprising 171 taxa, 131 mosses and 40 liverworts. The inventory documented calciphiles, acidophiles, epiphytes, lithophytes, and generalists, reflecting the park's diverse substrates. The collections from the Crum Bryological Workshop at Mammoth Cave National Park add to our understanding of the distribution of bryophytes in Kentucky and the ecology of the park.
