Lewis and Clark Listening Adventure submerses the viewer in the rich ecosystems of Lewis and Clark National Historical Park through the story of Lewis and Clark with modern-day audio and photography. The story map provides viewers the opportunity to experience and explore the park from their screens and speakers. The intention is to provide the same awe experience a visitor would experience in person while connecting us to the stories from the past. The story map is a combination of ultra-rich, immersive audio, and intimate photography and video used to capture these stories and places in their most essential and honest form. Soundscape audio was recorded by Dr. Jacob Job, Night Skies and Sounds Division as part of the Lewis and Clark NHP Soundscapes Project (2017).
