A company moving a mobile home knocked down an approximately 20 ft. saguaro and other desert plants. Local residents were upset, as they had taken great care in transplanting the cactus to that area when a road was put in four years prior. The Arizona Department of Agriculture has a native plant law by which fines can be issued plus requirements to replant the area at the company's expense. In this case, the moving company has expressed willingness to cooperate to remediate the situation.
