Goals and Objectives: The purpose of this study was to measure sound levels in and near the YUKON MOAs to establish natural ambient sound levels in the major habitats of the MOAs, to measure sound levels during periods of routine military training and during periods of major flying exercises, primarily Cope Thunder exercises. Another purpose of the study was to identify sources and sound levels of sounds that were significantly higher than natural ambient sound levels.
