A cactus garden on the campus of the University of Arizona can be seen in a postcard from the early 1900s. In 1980 it was named after Joseph Wood Krutch, naturalist and author. The article includes words of Joseph Wood Krutch (from his 1954 book, "The Voice of the Desert") and from admirers of Krutch and of the garden.
