Kirchner P and Clark MH. 2026. Soil properties of Southwest Alaska Inventory and Monitoring Network, climate and weather observation stations, 2015-2016. National Park Service. Fort Collins CO https://doi.org/10.57830/2317166

This data set consists of soil pedon descriptions and analysis (photographs and soil properties), and a single set of active layer depth measurements from the Southwest Alaska Inventory and Monitoring Network of the National Park Service. Site locations include remote automated weather stations (RAWS) where soil volumetric water content (VWC), soil temperature (ST), matric potential (MPS) and soil conductivity (EC) are collected and archived with ongoing climate and weather observations. Data from the associated climate and weather stations are archived with the Western Regional Climate Center (Alaska): https://raws.dri.edu/wraws/akF.html.
