Swann D, Orum T, Thornton B, Kreutz D, Love B, Turner R, et al. 2011. Re: Saguaro Freeze Event 2011

Multiple e-mails, memos, newspaper articles regarding the effects on saguaros of a significant freeze event in Tucson in February, 2011. The severe freeze effects may take years to fully study and determine with potentially long-term serious consequences to the saguaro population. E-mail discussions follow participants' observations at the time and thoughts re: potential studies to learn more about the effects of the freeze event. Also discussed were effects of freeze on buffelgrass.
