This is the basic MS Word two-column brief template version 2.2 for Inventory & Monitoring (I&M) networks and partner organizations. It was designed to help I&M offices produce briefs that meet current NPS Graphic Identity and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act accessibility (Section 508) policy standards. The examples in and procedures in this template work with MS Word for MS Office 365 MSO Version 2512 or later (year 2026 or later). The template also provides working examples and additional format and layout guidance for meeting NPS and I&M policy for public-facing PDF documents. Additional customization by end-users while producing their PDFs is expected and encouraged.
