Ōpe‘ape‘a (Hawaiian hoary bat; Lasiurus semotus) roost in the foliage of trees, are largely solitary, and utilize a wide range of habitat types. We surveyed potential Hawaiian hoary bat ('ōpe'ape'a; Lasiurus semotus) roost trees at Pearl Harbor National Memorial (PERL) located on Ford Island, O‘ahu, Hawaii. Potential roost tree metrics were measured and collected at 12 trees within the study area in June 2024. This data file includes data pertaining to tree metrics including tree species, height, diameter at breast height (DBH), and canopy cover.
