Historic Structure Report for Richmond-Hamilton Farmhouse
Hardlines Design Company. 2011. Historic Structure Report for Richmond-Hamilton Farmhouse. National Park Service
This Historic Structure Report has been developed in anticipation of the restoration of the Richmond-Hamilton farmhouse. The Richmond-Hamilton Farm, a former farm that is adjacent to the floodplain overlooking the New River, is an example of a family farm that subsidized the income of a working class family in the New River Gorge National River park. Because of funding limitations, this HSR is in an abbreviated form that does not contain Part 3, record of Treatment. This HSR provides information for restoring the house to either a pre-WWII appearance or a post-WWII appearance.
