This data package contains data summaries for the San Francisco Bay Area Network (SFAN) Inventory and Monitoring Plant Communities Monitoring (PCM) data for selected vegetation communities from sample points at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Muir Woods National Monument, Point Reyes National Seashore, and Pinnacles National Park. The data summaries are derived on the Native scale (i.e. not summarized) source PCM datasets, which are defined in the accompanying XML metadata file and the NPS DataStore Reference. Data are summarized for a suite of vegetation parameters that represent structure and composition metrics, such as cover by species, density of woody plants, and species richness, among others.
