Sonoran Desert, Chihuahuan Desert, and Southern Plains Networks Groundwater Monitoring Protocol SOP #7: Processing Groundwater Data (version 1.1) provides instructions for processing groundwater monitoring data. The fundamental data output includes measurements of depth to water below ground surface and water level elevation in selected wells over time, measured both manually and, in some locations, indirectly by automated pressure transducers. Water temperature is collected by the automated pressure transducers as an adjunct to these parameters.
