Fire effects monitoring data collected at Cumberland Island National Seashore in Georgia, USA. The data were collected by various groups of fire ecologists and fire effects monitors from the NPS Southeast Region between 2012 and 2025. Data collected from 50 x 20 m forest plots (ARIS) include preburn and postburn inventory of fuels and vegetation. Variables measured include fuel load, burn severity, tree size and abundance by species, tree seedling abundance by species, and plant cover. Data collected from Stafford Plantation (PLAN) measured only fuel load and burn severity. Contact SER Fire Ecologist for more information.
