Fire effects monitoring data collected at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield in Republic, MO. The data were collected during spring, summer, and fall field seasons by the vegetation monitoring crew and fire effects monitoring crew out of Pea Ridge National Battlefield from 2003- 2025. The PERI FFI database primarily contains fuels monitoring and fire severity data. Woodland fuel loads are monitored using four standard Brown's transect per plot. Data were collected from 50 x 20 m plots. The published protocol can be found on the HTLN website (Leis et. al. 2011) http://science.nature.nps.gov/im/units/htln/library/Vegetation/PlantComm/PlantCom_2009_p.pdf. Includes disturbance assessment data for long-term vegetation monitoring.
