Integrating count and mark-recapture data to understand effects of climate change on birds at YOSE and SEKI

Haultain S and Stock S . Integrating count and mark-recapture data to understand effects of climate change on birds at YOSE and SEKI. 2023-2026. National Park Service

This project assessed bird data for 25 species in the SEKI and YOSE. Through the analysis of population trends and demography and population response to climate variation, this project developed Integrated Population Models that will yield a better understanding of landscape-scale population trends and a mechanistic understanding of their causes, improving on inferences about population change in response to climatic variation and climate change over what either data set alone could support.
