Seven Standard Operating Procedures are provided for monitoring paleontological resources at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, describing the following operations: documenting a new paleontological locality; monitoring documented paleontological localities; prioritizing paleontological sites for monitoring; field notebook use; photography; GPS use; and data management. They are intended to be complement the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area paleontological resource monitoring plan.
