Fort Necessity NB (FONE) camera monitoring data set - 20250117 to 20250513
Mitchell B . 2026. Fort Necessity NB (FONE) camera monitoring data set - 20250117 to 20250513. National Park Service
This data archive contains two tabular .csv files associated with images captured by wildlife cameras during implementation of the Northeast Region Deer Camera Monitoring Protocol. The deployments file contains metadata about the camera monitoring effort, while the images file contains species detections and numbers that is exported from the TrapTagger web site (https://traptagger.co.uk/) in a format suitable for analysis by the DEER app (https://shiny-nps.uri.edu/DEER/). TrapTagger uses a workflow facilitated by artificial intelligence to identify wildlife species and number in images, while the DEER app uses three different mark-recapture models for unmarked individuals to estimate the population size at a site.
