Environmental data related to the evaluation of inorganic air pollution input to pothole ecosystems in the desert Southwest has been collected over the past several years in Arches National Park and nearby BLM land, near Moab, Utah, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and Joshua Tree National Monument. Chemical composition of pothole waters and associated sediment are reported. The enrichment factor approach has been applied to the sediments in an effort to identify anomalous elemental levels. These data provide a baseline for determining changes in elemental concentration and enrichment status in the future.
