A Comparison of Contraceptive Technologies for Feral Horse Management
Garrott RA, Siniff DB, Tester JR, Eagle TC, Plotka ED. 1992. A Comparison of Contraceptive Technologies for Feral Horse Management. Wildlife Society Bulletin. 20(3):318-326
The objective of this study was to use previous research data to develop a more refined population model for feral horses. The model then was used to explore the potential application of the various mare-contraceptive technologies as management tools and contrast their use, both demographically and economically, with the current management program.
