Part one of a three year study of the effects of construction of a housing development, Padre Isles, north of the Padre Island National Seashore, Texas. This study supplements an Environmental Impact Study completed prior to the onset of construction. Impacts discussed include water quality, biological quality, terrestrial plant cover, and an overall rating of the development upon not only the area it occupies but also the surrounding areas, including the National Seashore.
