Results of an intensive 15-day study of a section of fringing and patch reef in Round Bay on the southeastern side of Coral Bay, St. John. Studies were conducted by students. Studied coral (distribution, size, sediment removal, feeding, fish feces as food), fish (types and abundance, behavior of the bluehead wrasse, feeding of sergeant majors, habitat us by butterfly fish, size & territory of Eupomacentrus variabilis & impact of intruders), littoral zone (distribution of west indian topshells, morphology and density of red mangrove roots) and fauna of two Sargassum species.
