The Central American coati (Nasua narica) is found from Arizona and New Mexico south through Panama. Within this range it is found in a wide variety of wooded habitats from deserts to rainforests. This paper is concerned with the ecology, habitat, distribution, and population trends of the species at the northern limits of its range. Figures and table.
