This study was undertaken to identify the forage plants utilized by the Roosevelt elk on Boyes Prairie in northwestern California and to determine seasonal variation in plants consumed. This is the third in a series of studies of the Roosevelt elk in the Boyes Prairie area and follows the work of Harn and Bentley.
