This reports details work carried out under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program, (DERP). In October and early November of 1984, prefield investigations were conducted in Honolulu. This work took the form of in-person interviews, archival research at a number of different locations, letters and telephone calls. From early November, 1984 until early December 1984, field investigations took place in American Samoa. This work also involved in-person interviews, archival research at a number of different locations and telephone calls, together with numerous onsite visits to locations of potential DERP concern. A total of eleven potential DERP candidate sites were identified and Candidate Site Forms, together with maps, photographs and other enclosures are included along with the narrative report.
