This article reports on the density and movements of coati mundi during 1973 and 1974 in and near Chiricahua National Monument. Coatis were observed by the author and sightings by personnel and visitors were recorded. Animals were captured in traps set along Bonita Canyon. Individuals were tagged and radio transmitter collars were attached to two males. Figure.
