35 Carmen white-tailed deer skulls were collected in the Chisos Mountains, Big Bend National Park, Texas. Fourteen deer skulls were also examined from the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, Berkeley, CA and the National Museum of Natural History, Washington, DC. Five of the 49 skulls had maxillary canines.
