The objectives of this investigation are to predict the habitat availability-flow relationship that exists for the Colorado squawfish, describe the channel morphology of the cobble substrate reach in the lower Yampa River, relate hydraulic and sediment transport data between several sites, and determine the range of discharges required to preserve the morphological conditions that have been observed or projected to have existed during the 1981-1983 squawfish spawning periods.
