This report lists bryophytes (284 mosses and 151 liverworts) documented as living in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. These specimens are entered into a comprehensive taxonomic/ecological database. Nature Conservancy element status of each bryophyte is assigned a rank according to Park, State, National, and global status where possible. Methods and results of evaluations of epiphytic bryophytes on four Fraser Fir stands compare the effects of spraying for balsam woolly adelgid (Adelges piceae Ratz.).
