Looked at the diets of cattle, black-tailed deer, axis deer and fallow deer at Point Reyes National Seashore. Found the amount of overlap varied throughout the year (in terms of percentage of grasses, browse and forbs). Determined diets using fecal samples, esophageal and rumen samples and evaluating them for plant species using a "microhistological method). Includes a listing of plant species and genera with notes about which animals ate them.
