This report provides the results of an aerial bald eagle nesting survey conducted in the Katmai area in May and early June 1974. Fifty-seven active nests and 21 inactive nests were located. Thirty-two of the active nests were found along the coast and 25 were found in the interior, primarily in the Naknek River drainage. In addition to the 57 adults that were incubating, 43 adults and 6 juveniles were tabulated during the survey.
