An ecological study examining the ratio of rodents to vegetation density, seasonal influences on availability of food, and the distribution of rodents in several vegetative setting and terraines. The kangaroo rat (Dipodomys ordi Woodhouse), was the most frequently captured rodent in this study which occurred at Padre Island National Seashore, Texas.
